Life is a journey that is not meant to be navigated alone.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by past experiences, struggling with anxiety, or battling negative self-worth? Do you find that you compare yourself to others, feeling as though you never measure up? It’s common to feel trapped in a cycle of self-doubt and fear, where past experiences weigh heavily on your present. These feelings can make it difficult to embrace new opportunities or enjoy meaningful connections, leaving you feeling isolated and misunderstood. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we can create a safe space for healing, build your resilience, and empower you to embrace your true self.

My background & approach

I take a humanistic approach to therapy, focusing on the individual experiences of each client. I place significant value on building the therapeutic relationship, knowing that it takes time for people to trust and feel safe enough to be vulnerable with their therapist. I combine evidence-based therapies, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), with a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological complexities clients face.

Clients often describe me as caring, compassionate, and understanding, and I believe that humor, authenticity, clarity, and personal connection can foster healing in the therapeutic process. Together, we will work to build resilience, develop coping strategies, and cultivate a positive self-image. In our sessions, you can expect an empathetic ear and a collaborative environment where your voice is heard. Whether you’re dealing with past trauma, anxiety, or struggles with self-esteem, I am here to support you on your journey to healing. My goal is to help you uncover your strengths and create lasting change.

I believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered and valued. My commitment is to walk alongside you as you uncover your potential and reclaim your narrative Together, we can transform your challenges into opportunities for growth. Let’s embark on this journey together.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique I use to help clients process trauma and emotional barriers. I find that this approach, combined with my warm and attentive demeanor, creates a safe space for my clients to explore their feelings. I believe in tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process. Clients often describe me as caring and thoughtful, which I consider essential qualities in our work together. I strive to listen deeply and provide insights that resonate with my clients, empowering them to confront their challenges and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I feel honored to be a part of their journeys. I am a trauma informed licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of New Jersey and California. With a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of relationships and personal struggles. My journey into this field was shaped by my own experiences, which ignited my passion for helping others find healing and connection.

My previous experience includes working with couples, children, and families through a community family resource center as well as working in a residential treatment facility serving at risk women addressing trauma and substance use.
